Unleash your creativity and passion for hospitality in a dynamic Marketing Manager role!

Join a vibrant team and play a key role in shaping the guest experience at The Sanctuary Beach Resort. You'll assist the sales & marketing departments with tours, content creation, guest communication, and executing exciting programs & partnerships for our hotel, spa, and food & beverage outlets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales initial tours, weaving brand-led stories seamlessly with tactical information to encourage conversions. 
  • Oversee local marketing material production and distribution, keeping our guests informed.
  • Represent The Sanctuary Beach Resort in media interviews (when the GM is unavailable).
  • Partner with the social media agency and Corporate DOSM, gathering captivating video and content. 
  • Foster local partnerships, communicate special offers, and organize engaging events.
  • Maintain accurate event & activity information, enticing guests with brand-led experiences.
  • Research innovative programming, packages, and offerings that elevate our brand.
  • Support the PR agency and Corporate DOSM in gathering timely information from the various on-property disciplines to meet deadlines. 
  • Oversee the local music & monthly events, planning and onsite-management.
  • Collaborate on hotel & outlet photoshoots, managing all onsite logistics and the digital asset library.
  • Champion our EarthView program, adhering to eco-friendly practices.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1- 4 years of related marketing, public relations, or hospitality experience preferred. 
  • Must be passionate about branding, marketing, storytelling and managing events. 
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for anticipating needs.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills and experience in reporting and analytics to drive recommendations and continually fine-tune program performance.
  • Must be creative, outgoing, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in social media and content creation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative spirit with a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Work Environment and Context

  • Required to walk the site with potential guests as needed and sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard. 
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety.
  • Work schedule varies and may include occasional nights and weekends.
